The Frankfort Fire Cadet Program, established in 1984, is an integral part of the department, designed to introduce young individuals between the ages of 15 and 21 to careers in Fire and EMS services. Under the guidance of dedicated firefighters, the program offers participants hands-on experience with firefighting tools, apparatus operations, and learning from district professionals. Meetings are held every Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., providing cadets with valuable, practical exposure.
